Good Reading

I don't have time to review everything, obviously. But if you have extra time on your hands (time beyond reading what I've already reviewed), these books are good reads.

Ape House by Sara Gruen (Fiction)
Despite skimming a few pithy topics, it's another frothy, successful animal romp by the author of Water for Elephants.

Spoon Fed
by Kim Severson (Nonfiction)
From the New York Times food journalist comes an unsentimental memoir about her weightiest female influences, food and otherwise, mostly big names in the foodie world.

Unnamed by Joshua Ferris (Fiction)
Veering wildly from his office-centric debut novel, Ferris's latest book is an interesting read if from the aspect of premise alone: what happens when man physically cannot stop himself from walking? Some bad things, as it turns out.
